The Lucas Oil I 10 Speedway, presented by Next Era Energy Resources, will be rolling out the Thanksgiving red carpet to its fans and race teams November 30th for the 12th annual Thanksgiving Winter Blast. The quarter mile paved oval, located at the Colorado River Fairgrounds in Blythe-California, will be treating its fans to racing action from their Legend, Bandolero, Pony Stock and Street Stock divisions. Racing fans should note that, because of the chilly weather in Blythe this time of the year, this evening of affordable family fun will be a special day race. The spectator gates will open at 1pm with the racing getting underway at 2pm. This special holiday weekend race is being sponsored by the community's local news source: the Palo Verde Valley Times.
Traditionally, Halloween night is the perfect time for monsters to run wild and free. However, the Lucas Oil I 10 Speedway has decided that they want to unleash their monsters this Saturday night, November 9th. Round three of the speedway's 2013-2014 Winter Blast Racing Series, presented by Next Era Energy Resources, will be a very special evening titled: The Monster Truck Night Of Fire And Thrills. This special evening will feature high powered monster trucks as well as a flame throwing fire truck that has to be seen to be believed. Also thrilling the fans will be stock car racing action from the Gene Price Motorsports Late Model Series and the NAPA Auto Parts Factory Stocks.
The Lucas Oil I 10 Speedway, presented by Next Era Energy Resources, will present round two of its 2013-2014 Winter Blast Racing Series this Saturday night, October 26th. The quarter mile paved oval is located at the Colorado River Fairgrounds in Blythe-California. The on track action will be provided by the speedway's Lucas Oil street stocks and NAPA Auto Parts factory stocks along with the pony stock division. Special guest division will be the Pick Your Part Southwest Tour Trucks. This three hours of affordable family fun is being presented by the locally owned and operated Subway Restaurant in Blythe.
BLYTHE, California - September 28, 2013 - Chris Gerchman said he was racing more for points than for a win Saturday night at Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway. He got both and in the process got a stranglehold on his first championship in the Lucas Oil Modified Series presented by LoanMart.
The Lucas Oil Modified Racing Series, presented by 1 800 Loan Mart, is in a state of mourning this week. In recent days we had to bid a tearful farewell to one of our own: driver David Gerchman.
The Lucas Oil I 10 Speedway, the quarter mile paved oval located at the Colorado River Fairgrounds in Blythe-California, closed their 2011-2012 Winter Blast Racing Series, June 9th, with a spectacular evening of racing in front of a capacity crowd who enjoyed action from the speedway's street stock and factory stock divisions along with special appearances by the Lucas Oil Modified Racing Series and the ASA Truck Series. The special evening was presented by the local Subway Restaurant and America's Best Value Inn.
